When you sit in front of a computer screen for hours at a time, your mind can often wander, and for many people, this gives you time to reflect. As 16-year-old Gabrielle was thinking of how to occupy her time, she came across this quote, “You don’t need a business plan.  You don’t need to have an MBA. All you need is a great idea.  Anything is possible, and you can accomplish it.” I have it; she thought out loud. I could start my own business.  She mused that the Pandora charms that she liked were very expensive if purchased at the retail price.  I have some time on my hands! I am creative! Why not make my own charms. The idea birthed LaBelle Beaute, her on-line jewelry collection, which she launched on her birthday.  Her ingenuity was further expanded because of her love of technology; she created her own website.  She explains that the coloring was the biggest challenge, but when the black background was not working for her, she reverted to her favorite color, pink.
